Itinerary
Original Plan
The world is big.. while we don’t have a concise itinerary yet, here is the general idea of our travel plans. Start out in Europe for about 3.5 months (of which 1 week will be spent in Africa – Senegal). The goal is to visit several countries in Central/Eastern Europe that neither of us have been to (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary). We’re also planning to visit friends and extended family along the way in places such as France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Romania and Greece. The European tour will conclude with Turkey.
Next it’s on to Southeast Asia for about 2.5 months. The plan is to visit places where Brigitte spent part of her childhood growing up (Indonesia and Thailand), and then check out several other countries such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Laos. We’ve also been giving thought to doing a little side-trip to some exotic islands around the way.
The third and final leg of our journey will be dedicated to Australia and or New Zealand for approximately 3 weeks. After that it’s back to NYC!
